After study abroad, Mr. Min joined the Shanghai Music Publishing House as an editor. He currently teaches the classical guitar at Shanghai Conservatory of Music.
In contemporary music, Zhenqipremiered the guitar concerto,Symphonic VariationsbyXuMengdong in the 33rd Shanghai Spring International Music Festival. Besides, he performedPoemeLyrique IIby Chen Qigang,Vacuite and Consistanceby XuShuya, and other modern pieces.
In addition, Zhenqi has been commissioned by SMPH since 2009. He is the author ofThe Pop Musicand111 Pieces of Classic Guitar Works, and the translator ofMel Bay Presents Complete Giuliani Studies.
